GREEN GRADS is an ongoing UK initiative founded and curated by multi-award-winning design journalist Barbara Chandler, known for her long-running pages in the London Evening Standard, to platform UK graduates engaging with eco-issues, such as sustainability, climate change, circular production, waste and pollution, diminishing resources, biophilia, bio-diversity and much more.
To identify, promote and enable a new generation of UK graduate eco-activists, linking them with manufacturers, design practices, shops, galleries, the media/Internet and the public at large.
We put on shows and help our GREEN GRADS to display their projects and products, and – crucially -arrange for them to be there in person to interact with visitors. Through this, our GREEN GRADS develop presentation and communication skills, and grow in confidence. They network and support each other. We introduce them to new audiences, creating opportunities to further their ideas and ambitions.
