Description: Hands Up for Our Health is a coalition of organisations fighting for everyone in the UK to have the chance to access healthcare, during COVID-19 and beyond.
No matter who we are, where we come from or how much we earn, many of us share the belief that a compassionate society is one that cares for people when they fall ill. During the pandemic the NHS was a symbol of strength, that was there to look after each and everyone of us through such a difficult time.
But right now, people living in the UK are refused medical care because of their immigration status. This policy is cruel, it undermines the founding principles of the NHS and puts all of our health in danger.
