British conductor Harry Ogg takes up the position of Kapellmeister at Deutsche Oper am Rhein and in the 2022/23 season conducts Die Tote Stadt, Tosca, Don Giovanni, Hänsel und Gretel and Die Zauberflöte, among others.
This season also sees Harry make debuts with Münchner Philharmoniker, Hamburger Symphoniker, including his Elbphilharmonie debut, Les Siècles, Orchestre de chambre de Paris and Bergen Philharmonic. Having debuted only last season Harry returns to Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, SWR Symphonieorchester and Dresden Philharmonie.
Previous highlights include debuts with WDR Sinfonieorchester, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Nürnburger Symphoniker, Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal and Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse. Harry stepped in to conduct a recording session with Bergen Philharmonic and Leif Ove Andsnes, recorded Britten’s World War Two Radio Plays with Hallé Orchestra. Harry has also led concerts with London Mozart Players and the Jena, Hradec Králové and North Czech Philharmonic Orchestras.
