After moving away for college, I found my way back to Central Wisconsin and settled in Wausau in 2005. Fast forward to 2009 and I would gift myself my first DSLR for my birthday. As a stay-at-home mom at the time, I had nothing to lose by diving headfirst into creating a business. I also had the cutest subject to practice on with another little
Way back in those beginning days, I focused on weddings. This gave me the best of both worlds. I got to be a mom all week long and then, got to be ME again on the weekends. It was the perfect marriage (pun totally intended).
However; as my kids grew it became apparent to me that my company while growing needed to shift gears a bit so I could still have that perfect marriage between being a mom and business owner. I officially said a bittersweet goodbye to wedding photography in 2018 and dove back into portraiture.
