On Wednesday, April 26, City Council debated a proposed Heritage Maintenance Policy. The policy is designed to allow the city to inspect properties on the Heritage Inventory and to recommend maintenance work to ensure the longevity of our heritage assets. The inspection only includes the character-defining elements on the facade of the building and items like foundations, roofs, and other factors that ensure the building remains solid.
