Our group’s area covers the Derbyshire’s High Peak between the two cities of Greater Manchester and Sheffield and is contiguous with the georaphical area of High Peak Borough Council.

This is a wonderful area for walking. It includes the Dark Peak, with Kinder Scout which is the highest point in England south of the Yorkshire Dales and the White Peak with its interesting limestone scenery. Our walks programme ranges across this area with trips further afield to North Wales, the South Pennines and other places within reach of a day trip. Social events include meals out and short breaks away in Spring and Autumn.
