This dress and suit were made for the wedding of two dear re-enactment friends. They married in Downton Abbey Garden party style and my dress was inspired by the dress Lady Mary Crawley wears on the would-be-wedding day of her sister Lady Edith. The dress is made of blue batist cotton with a white lace overlay and white lace decorations. Underneath it I wear an ivory silk chemise with lace at the top. The sash I wear around my waist is a blue silk scarf. My ivory silk wedding shoes and a straw cloche style
