The 10th Anniversary of the Association of Public Historians of New York State (APHNYS) was celebrated in 2009 with the creation of a legacy project to showcase the history of APHNYS members’ communities. T he rich and fascinating history of New York State’s villages, towns, cities, boroughs, and counties are the threads that create a tapestry of the Empire State’s heritage.
