Hiking Trail Along Douro River

The hiking trail that we suggest starts on the south side of the D. Luis I bridge, in Gaia, and extends along approximately six kilometers, to the Interpretative Center of the Local Nature Reserve of the Douro Estuary. It is a route completely parallel to the Douro river, which allows you to admire the riverside vocation of Porto and Gaia, the old industrial archeology as well as the recovered ones. Close to the Afurada market, the new architecture and the marina where you can rent a boat trip on the river.
