To measure form, contour, surface characteristics and roughness of micro components, the 3D optical scanning system from Alicona is needed. A vertical resolution of 10 nanometres allows robust measurement of finish on form. The InfiniteFocus has a large range of objectives to enable measurement across large vertical and lateral ranges, allowing the InfiniteFocus to easily be referred to as a micro scanning CMM.
A vertical scanning resolution to 10 nanometers, with scanning speed up to 200,000 points per second, allows robust measurement of form characteristics on complex 3D organic shapes. Steep flanks up to almost vertical walls can be measured due of the unique application of focus variation technology. The InfiniteFocus has a large range of objectives to enable scan measurement across large vertical and lateral ranges, allowing the InfiniteFocus to easily be referred to as a micro scanning CMM.
Using Focus Variation technology, the InfiniteFocus is able to resolve complex 3D geometries with steep walls, diffuse reflections and very rough surfaces, and capture true color information from the sample.
