The Hutt Valley Model Engineering Society comprises around forty members with a wide range of interests, from clocks to precision tools to miniature steam locomotives, traction engines and marine plant.
Members keep in touch through our monthly newsletter, "Blast Pipe" . This is a widely recognised model engineering club newsletter and is regularly mentioned in Model Engineer magazine. There is always a good variety of articles though more are always needed! The Maidstone (Upper Hutt) club shares space in Blast Pipe on a co-operative basis.
