Emily Sun lives and works on Whadjuk Noongar country (Perth, WA). Her poetry and prose have been published in various national and international anthologies and journals including Meanjin, Cordite Poetry Review, Australian Poetry Journal , Mascara Literary Journal, and Growing up Asian in Australia . In 2018 and 2019, she was awarded runner-up in the national Deborah Cass Writing Prize, the recipient of fellowships at KSP and Centre for Stories, and took part in Fremantle Press’ Emerging Writers Pil
