The International Bureau for Environmental Studies (IBES) is an international association under Belgian law – non-profit organization – created in 1996 (identification nr: 27441/96; Belgian Official Journal of 25.12.1996).
According to its Statutes, the objectives of the International Bureau for Environmental Studies are to perform scientific and technical studies related to environmental problems, to stimulate scientific work in this field, to perform international cooperation in relation with environmental studies, to exchange know-how in the environmental field.
