Kialoa V was the 1987 World Maxi Champion. In 1999, this 80' maxi was outfitted with a new interior designed for comfort of offshore ocean sailing and living aboard. Performance was not compromised as the rig, deck and below water line is still as it was when she raced.
We offer you the opportunity to sail from Greenport, Long Island to Bermuda mid-October, 2008 or from Bermuda to the Virgin Islands on December 1, 2008. This is a great chance for a person interested in experiencing ocean sailing aboard a world-class performance boat. This is NOT a charter but a chance to crew and be part of an offshore sailing team!
My wife and I, with our two sons, have been ocean sailing and living aboard for 30 years.
