Private company «Cascade» was established in 1993 by Vitaliy Khomutynnik. Five years later it was reorganized into a private joint-stock company and in 2008 transformed into investment fund Cascade. Nowadays it has strong positions and interests in agriculture, gas extraction, real estate, and financial markets in Eastern Europe, and has stocks of private and public companies. Fund also has a separate division - venture fund, which invests into high-growth tech companies in Europe and the USA.
