We welcome your interest in IED. It was founded in 1951 as a not-for-profit corporation. Current membership consists of 37 organizations, including Regular voting Members and non-voting Associate Members. Join us to exchange ideas with other members and to add your voice for industry improvements. We believe that there is strength in numbers, and we have been successful in the past to defend industry practices, to protect from unfair taxation and to fend off questionable manufacturer dictates.
