Description: The Indiana Live Steamers are a group dedicated to transportation history and live steam railroading. The primary focus of this group is a 7 1/2 inch,gauge railroad. These miniature trains are 1/8 scale models of real transportation system tools. Many locomotives are live steam engines. Some of the models are diesel electric models which actually operate through a mechanical hydraulic system. Our monthly meeting will be held at 10 am in the ILS Club House. Visitors are welcome. Updates from our Officers, Grounds, Safety, Public Relations, Track, Education, Events, and our new G Scale Track will be discussed. Members, please don't forget to join us!
We continue our Public Runs for the 2024 Year! Please make plans to join us for a fun filled afternoon. Tickets will be on sale at the Ticket Booth next to McClain Station on School House Road. There is a parking lot near the Station. Tickets are $4 per person.
