At ANWB I am the lead dev and solution architect for Team Vereniging. Among other apps I work mostly on the traffic apps (i.e. Routeplanner) of ANWB: the frontend and all APIs. Tech: Preact, Webpack, Jest, Cypress, ES6, Flow, Less, Apigee, NodeJS, AWS (API gateway, S3, Kubernetes, Lambda, Cloudwatch), New Relic, Splunk.
Professional coders aren’t necessarily male. Coding isn’t assigned to gender. That is what I see as an undeniable fact, but also as a statement I want to enforce in the real world. That's why I founded Girl Code . I organize meetups, workshops, talks and demos, to inspire women to get into code or stay in code and raise awareness for the gender gap in the developer world. Boys, and of course all other genders, are welcome too!
For my technical accomplishments, my career path and my work to bridge the gender gap in code I won a couple of awards.
