ipe.net.au - Institute for Private Enterprise

Description: The Institute for Private Enterprise aims to develop private enterprise by promoting increased competition, increasing the resultant benefits, and reducing the economic and social costs from government intervention. It advocates a reduced government role in providing welfare and an increase in individual and family responsibility. Governments need to provide strong defence and intervene where no “market” exists for the private sector, such as in dealing with emergencies.
