Established in the UK in 1984, we work in over 45 countries, assist people of all faiths according to need and do not discriminate in any way.
Qurbani means sacrifice. Every year during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal – a goat, sheep, cow or camel – to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail, for the sake of God.
God says in the Qur’an (4:135): “O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be they rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you)”
