The magician asks a spectator to take out her phone. The spectator is asked to mute the volume on her phone and open the YouTube app.
Claiming that he is going to predict a particular song, the magician takes the phone such that only he can see the screen and searches for a song. The magician ensures that the video of the song is silently playing, and returns the phone to the spectator with its screen facing downwards.
He asks the spectator what song she thinks is playing, allowing the spectator to change her mind if desired. With a free choice , a song is named, and the spectator turns the volume up and looks at their phone to hear and see the named song is indeed the one playing.
