This website is lovingly dedicated to the memory of the millions of innocent men, women and children, victims of the Holocaust, who were systematically and brutally slaughtered by the Nazi's and their collaborators . It is also dedicated to the memory of Max Kaufmann, without whom this account would never have been recorded for posterity, and to the memory of Boris Kliot, who ensured that Mr. Kaufmann’s book was translated into English, making it accessible to millions of people who otherwise would never
