Leap Discipleship Year, formerly known as Timothy Ministry Training (TMT), is an intensive discipleship program focused on training men and women for life and ministry within the context of the local church. As a ministry of Joshua Generation Church, Leap emphasizes the importance of both theoretical learning and practical application, modeled after the way Jesus trained His disciples.
The program follows a three-step approach: showing students what to do, doing it with them, and then sending them out to practice what they’ve learned. Originally founded in 2001, Leap has grown over the years and now continues to build on its legacy by launching a new program in San Clemente.
