Jean received her BA in Psychology from Dickinson College and her MS in Guidance and Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She has spent her professional career as an educator and as a school counselor. Early in her career, she taught in Baltimore City and Carroll County public schools. From 1986-1989 she served as a parent educator for Baltimore City Public Schools and as a counselor working with adolescents for Jewish Community Services.
