Choosing a home inspection association is a business decision. You pay dues to belong and, in return, you get membership benefits. If the membership benefits are worth more to your home inspection business than the cost of being a member, you should become a member. To help you decide, we’ve made a comparison chart of the membership benefits offered by the two North American home inspection associations: ASHI and InterNACHI .
We did not include any associations based outside of the North America in our comparison chart, as the home inspection industry is not very developed outside of the U.S. and Canada.
None of the Canadian-based associations were included in our comparison chart, as none have very many membership benefits. Furthermore, InterNACHI is the largest inspection association in Canada and InterNACHI is included in our comparison chart.
