I'm a product designer , user experience strategist and design manager living and working in Silicon Valley . I design enterprise and consumer applications for desktops , tablets , and phones and build teams to continue to make them successful .
When people ask me what I do, I always find it difficult to answer in a succinct way. I define products and manage development, but I'm not a product manager or project manager. I write code, but I'm not a software engineer. User experience lives tenuously between product and engineering like a tightrope walker, and because of that it's often misunderstood.
The best, yet incomplete, description I can come up with is that I help businesses define and create products that are easy and enjoyable for people to use. I'm a strong believer in cross-functional teams delivering delightful products, rather than siloed individuals collaborating on features, regardless of whether the product is a consumer mobile app or an enterprise console.
