Karen is an award-winning Impressionist oil painter. She paints luminous, colorful landscapes of her local surroundings and the places she visits.
Karen's life has come full-circle as she's traversed the West Coast: From growing up in the California Bay Area to studying Psychology and Visual Arts in La Jolla where she graduated from USCD, her studies afforded her a year in Santa Barbara, and then Karen's professional journey led her to spend over three decades in Oregon where she worked for Nike, Inc. During her time in Oregon, Karen continued to pursue her passion for art by studying at the Oregon College of Art and Craft and the Pacific Northwest
