King Street Big Band is a 16 piece jazz orchestra based in Lancaster PA, dedicated to honoring the greats and promoting new voices in the jazz world. They are currently in residence at the Millersville University Ware Center.

In 2014, Kate decided that Lancaster, PA, where she was living at the time, needed a big band. The Lancaster community quickly embraced the group. What started as a monthly reading band is now an integral part of the Lancaster music scene. KSBB has been in residence at the Ware Center since 2016 when the band collaborated with the Lancaster Historical Society on a show called “Salute to Pearl Harbor” honoring the 75th anniversary of the events at Pearl Harbor.
