Kiwimbi is a Swahili word meaning “ripple” or “small wave.” We believe that as you foster a child’s education, that child is able to build a better life for themselves, their family, community, and country, like a ripple moving across a pond, spreading outward.
Our goals of improved educational achievement, vocational readiness, and enhanced cultural awareness are addressed through programs provided at the Kiwimbi Library and Community Center and other online and traditional resources.
