Description: A joint effort and cooperation between the Tourist Association and Alpine Club Schenna meant work on the Heini Holzer via ferrata project could commence in May 2016. The Heini Holzer via ferrata was completed by four mountain guides in six weeks: Peter Vanzo, a mountain guide from Merano, coordinated the project. The 500 m long climb is perfectly secured with 1000 m of steel cable and is rated at medium difficulty (A–B and in some places B/C).
