The Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute and the Division of Trauma Surgery at Tufts Medical Center are dedicated to the specialized care of pediatric trauma patients and to the health and safety of all children. Traumatic injuries are the leading cause of death and disability to children. More children are killed and disabled by injuries than all other diseases combined.
