Photos from our visit to the Alcázar de Sevilla (in Sevilla). We got up early and beat the crowds! We had plans to visit The Alhambra a second time during our trip, but the Alcázar filled our quota of ornate ceilings and complicated tilework, and with no one else around to boot.

Granted, if we’d Airbnb’d a place in Sevilla, we would have not had the stellar view that we do from our Granada residence, and in Seville you pay for your tapas, so we all know which city was the right choice in the end.
