Using Reiki to Enhance Your Quality of Life
There are a number of energy therapies that are based on Eastern beliefs, and Reiki is one of them. It is Universal energy harnessed to encourage the body to heal itself and is used to treat several conditions, including fatigue, depression, anxiety, and pain. Treatment involves the practitioner placing their hands on, or just above, a patient to enable the patient’s own healing response. It can also be administered via distance.
Dress comfortably for your appointment, because each session will last about an hour. You are fully clothed and lying comfortably on a heated crystal mat during your session. If you prefer that I do not put my hands directly on you, that’s not a problem. Just let me know. Distance sessions vary in length, between 30 and 60 minutes. I also offer my own personally developed healing modality: Reiki Nidra. This is a combination of Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation, rest, and healing, and Reiki.
