Located roughly 43 km west of Peterborough, Lindsay, Ontario is a community on the Scugog River in the Kawartha Lakes region of south-eastern Ontario. The area known today as Lindsay, ON was originally surveyed as the Township of Ops in 1825 as land was reserved for a town site.
