Welcome to Little Journey Farm. We are located in the small, but ever growing community of Semmes, Alabama. Little Journey Farm is managed and operated by my four children Blayne, Cole, Bentley, Harper and myself (Tiffany)Blake. We embarked on this great journey of raising Dairy goats to give a lonely mini horse a companion. Shortly after acquiring our first 3 Nigerian Dwarfs we realized that we couldn't just own 3. So here we are, we have since sold all of our horses except for one cranky mare named "Cat"
We are members of both the American Goat Society (AGS) and the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). The goals of our herd are to raise healthy, sound, and correct animals that perform well both in the show ring and the milk pail. We look very carefully at all animals that we are breeding and do our very best to breed for animals that will meet the true breed characteristics. We do participate in the ADGA Linear Appraisal program, DHIR testing and attend as many shows as possible each year. These programs
Herd health is one of our top priorities. For this reason we do CAE, CL, and Johnes blood test yearly and also random PCR fecals through (Waddl) Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab.
