Li Xinmo, artist, critics, curator, was born in 1976 in Yilan, Heilongjiang province, China. She graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts with a MA degree in 2008 and is now based in Beijing. Her art, involving multiple media like performance, painting and video, explores memory, dream, subconsciousness with scripts, images, installation and live art. Her works, mainly dealing with gender, identity, and ecology, have been exhibited in some important museums like National Museum of World Culture in Sweden
