Backpage was a free classified ads site where anyone could advertise what they want. You could advertise apartments for sales, promote your business, and find classified ads for jobs, free stuff, escorts, strippers, body rubs and dating.
Because of some controversy they took Backpage down, and a gap in the market appeared. Craigslist does a good job of classified ads, but there wasn’t a site similar to Backpage.
