Welcome to my studio specialising in audio mixing. If you are serious about your music then you already know that mixing is the all-important step in your production that is going to make or break your releases. My creative process combines years of arranging, recording, mixing and mastering experience using both analogue and digital equipment to get the best out of your tracks.
The studio’s gear includes a Trident console along with Drawmer, TLAudio, Oram outboard gear (Yes, I like the British sound!), SPL, dbx, TC6000 reverbs and an extensive collection of software plug-ins. All mixes are checked on eight different types of high-end studio monitors and speakers. Mixing is so much more than just setting up compressors and equalisers correctly. There are many enhancements, both small and large, that can be applied to each instrument, and it needs to be said that top quality analogue effects also make a significant difference to the overall quality. Imagine routing your synths, guitars or drums through analogue Moog filters or using real tape on your vocal track to add saturation or create a unique echo effect.
