Description: The Long Pond Ironworks Historic District is an outdoor historic site located in the heart of Long Pond Ironworks State Park, and has remains of a former ironworking community with old buildings, stone walls, furnaces and waterwheels. The Friends of Long Pond Ironworks and the State Park operate a visitor center and museum to help visitors interpret the park's history and offer information about hiking trails and other nearby attractions.
