Hailing from sunny Los Angeles, Loren most recently performed in the West End in the role of Rodney in Opera North's acclaimed production of Kurt Weil's One Touch of Venus , having created the part. He has also performed as Dean Martin in the West End hit, The Rat Pack, Live From Las Vegas , Danilo in Carl Rosa's production of The Merry Widow , and created the role of Dexter in the West End hit, Beautiful and Damned . Loren was named BBC Radio2's Voice of Musical Theatre in 2002, and has also been a very popular guest singer on BBC Radio2's Friday Night Is Music Night . Loren toured the country with Ruthie Henshall in the summer of 2005, performing in sell-out concerts, as well as producing his own concert series: Too Darn Hot. Recently, Loren has worked on the movie version of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd directed by Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter, as well as appearing in Whirlwind for Streetwis
