Lothersdale Mill is located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales in superb walking country on the route of the Pennine Way. See our Contact Page for details of where we are.

Dale End Mill, otherwise known as Lothersdale Mill, is a historic building in North Yorkshire which contains reputedly the largest indoor waterwheel in the world. The Lothersdale waterwheel and the whole complex has a Grade II* listing.

The Lothersdale waterwheel itself is classed as an Ancient Monument and is of great historical significance. It is not working at present and is in need of extensive restoration work. We hope that money can be raised to save this important artefact for future generations to see.
