I grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, where I spent many rainy weekends drawing at my kitchen table. Early defining artworks for me include the short film, " The Snowman" , Maira Kalman's book, " Hey Willy, See The Pyramids" , " Ragtime " the musical, and Sir Quentin Blake's drawing manual, " Drawing For The Artistically Undiscovered ".
