M addie Pintoff is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at the Juilliard School under the tutelage of Paul Neubauer.
At Juilliard, she performs often as a member of the Juilliard Orchestra and the Juilliard Lab Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, she has performed in numerous recitals as well as appearing in Juilliard’s Pianoscope, featuring historical arrangements of Beethoven’s Piano Concertos, and New Dances, where her string quintet collaborated in a cross-disciplinary program with dancers and choreographers. Originally from Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Maddie began her official viola studies with Sophie Arbuckle, joining the Pre-College program at the Juilliard School. During her high school years, she held the position of principal violist of both the Juilliard Pre-College Orchestra and Pre-College Symphony, regularly performing in Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
