Science communication
Mafalda is a cell biologist with a passion for science communication. She has a PhD in virus-host interactions from the University of Surrey, where she studied how viruses modulate the cell in order to escape the cellular antiviral response. Mafalda believes that science should be inclusive and accessible for all, thus she communicates her research and shares her life as a young scientist on social media both in English and Portuguese.
