The process of making a collage is extremely satisfying and stretches my imagination, vision, and intelligence. The term comes from the French word "coller," meaning "to paste." Most collages are made with "found" materials (postcards, newspaper scraps, cardboard), continuing the tradition introduced by various cubist artists such as Picasso and Braque.
