For the culture
On 22 December 2016 we co-organised (under our then moniker Studio Narrative) the Freedom Lecture together with De Balie and Arminius. Present were Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors and Janaya Khan, BLM Toronto founder. In a roundtable conversation we discussed Black Lives Matter as an organisation, its strategies , the context from which the movement was formed and the challenges it faced right after Donald Trump was elected 45th president of the United States in November 2016.
