Our Marie Detty Youth & Family Services is named for Marie Detty, who was a supervisor in Child Welfare Services in the '60s and '70s. She saw the problems that young people faced and sought solutions. Over more than 30 years working in public welfare, she pushed for changes in how women were seen in leadership roles, how children were cared for and how our community responded to vulnerable residents.
