My latest artwork offering on Bluethumb. "Having completed a painting different to original plans (watercolour, full page), somehow I went in a different direction. I did the face area, and was painting the dress, lower hair and dress, and decided to leave an unfinished look, but even more drastic, the headdress would have been complex to paint and just part of the painting. So I simplified it as a design, using penwork, and metallic twinkling watercolours and gouache. I think it adds more interest to the p
