Description: Discover Maryport Maritime Museum, a treasure trove of maritime history and heritage. Located in the heart of Maryport, our museum showcases an extensive collection of ship models, nautical artifacts, and exhibits that tell the story of the region's rich maritime past.
Due to the retirement of board members and insufficient volunteers to staff the front desk, we urgently need people of all ages, experience and background to come forward. All you need is an interest in Maryport and its heritage and a few hours a week to spare. We also need people with Accounts, admin and IT skills.
We can promise you the satisfaction of learning more about our town, meeting visitors from all over the world and helping Maryport people and businesses to benefit from this popular tourist attraction.
