Description: International relations Darwin, Northern Territory. Australian expert covering security and defence matters. Coordinator of the Bachelor of Humanitarian Aid and Development at Charles Darwin University
My 2023 research effort continues investigation into the effective use of strategic assets in disaster practice across the Asia-Pacific and their impact. In particular, field work and conferences are on the radar this year, with many research artifacts identified to be of interest across Australia and the Pacific needing my investigation.
As the strategic landscape is changing and the lines between offensive and defensive security practices are blurring we now see countries attempt to forge new paths forward against the backdrop of incoming security challenges without destabilising one another. My goal is to model and articulate beneficial policy and the strategic means forward towards the betterment of our region and partners.
Currently the course convener of the Bachelor of Humanitarian Aid and Development program with the Faculty of Arts and Society at Charles Darwin University, Booth consistently engages in innovative pedagogy, striving to empower the next generation of thought leaders in international relations.
